Pastor Truman Earl Page, of Gallatin, TN, passed away on Friday, July 15, 2016, at the age of 71. He is preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Nina (Ellis) Page, brothers; Fred Page Jr., Johnny Page, Jimmy Page, Perry Page and sister, Terri Weaver.
Pastor Page is survived by his beloved wife, Linda Mae (Smith), of 52 years, children; Tamara (Armando) Tobar, Darryl (Kay) Page, Kimberly (David) Young and Kevin (Miranda) Page. Cherished grandfather and great-grandfather of; Alanna (Tim) Thompson, Ashlan (Isaac) Wilson, Attalie (Jeff) Saling, Addison Tobar, Andrea Page, Andrew (Rebecca) Page, Adrianna Page, Abbigail (Seth) Harden, Aleigha Young, Aaron Young, Alexia Page, Adin Page, Blaine Page, Evan Thompson and Peyton Page. Pastor Page is also survived by his brother, Gene (Shirley) Page, along with many extended family and friends.
Pastor Page was born January 18, 1945 in Jackson, TN. He was a U.S. Navy veteran and served on the U.S.S. Charles F. Adams in the Mediterranean Sea. He founded and pastored the New Bern United Pentecostal Church in New Bern, NC for seven years and the New Life Pentecostal Church in Gallatin, TN for 34 years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and vacationing at Gulf Shores. His favorite food was sirloin steak and he, along with Linda, would enjoy coffee every morning at McDonald’s. Pastor Page was a man of integrity and strong faith who gave his life to the ministry of the Gospel. He loved his family greatly and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Life Celebration for Pastor Page will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, July 21, 2016 at Crestview Funeral Home, 1623 Highway 109 North in Gallatin, TN. Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 20th from 5PM – 9PM and again on Thursday, from 11AM – 1:00PM. Entombment will follow the service at the Crestview Memory Gardens Mausoleum

    Truman was a super great uncle and always an enjoyment to be around. He always made you feel like he was always interested in what was going on in your life. He truly was a faithful servant to Jesus Christ and now he is in his presence.

    Truman and Linda Page were such a big part of my childhood and teenage years I can’t even think back without them being there. My heart is breaking today for you. This journey passes so fast. God Bless your beautiful family.

    I spoke to Bro Page many times when we lived in Gallatin in the 1980’s He was one of the finest, my daughter went to school with hid daughter
