Mrs. Inman was a bright spot in my day. She always had a sweet kind smile on her face when I came into her room. She, Joe and her family will be missed beyond words by myself and our staff. They loved her and it showed. Joe told me this week they were best friends for 73 years. I can only hope that everyone is blessed to be loved like these two loved each other. Sending love, hugs and prayers to her family.

Never an unkind word did I ever hear her speak. She was a bright light for me and my mother. When my mother was so sick – Miss Norma would sit with her. She gave the best hugs & always, always told me she loved me. She loved us all. Her laugh was infectious and so was her love for college football, – Alabama was her team – Roll Tide!
We have lost a wonderful soul with a heart of gold who treated me like family. Heaven has gained an angel. I will never forget you, your smile, your laugh, your heart. I can hear you still – saying to me, “Bye hun, I Love You”….and I would say, “I Love You too, Miss Norma”…..until I see you again.
Praying for all of you. Special prayers to Mr. Joe

Love can only describe Aunt Jean. She was always caring about everyone in her famly. My Mother, Joe’s sister, Ollie Rita Poole, was blessed to have them with her in her last couple of weeks of her battle with cancer. I wish I had lived closer to see Aunt Jean before she passed away. Larry Joe and Connie kept our families informed about her last days. All I can say is she now sits with the Angels in Heaven. As with my Mother, she did not want to leave her family behing, but the suffering has ended now and we can rest assured that she sits in Heaven and the wonderful memories of her will never leave us. May God be with all of her family during these next few days and in the future. We will all miss her and her wonderful smile. Our prayers are with you to bring you some comfort. With love always. Nancy (Poole) Candy, and Shawn Cassada (my daughter) and family and Shelley (Poole) Pickens (my sister).

My heart goes out to Joe & the whole family during this tough time of loss in your family! Norma Jean was a very good person and I am sure that she is now in Heaven! God Bless You All and May God Be With You—-

I am Bernest Sircy’s younger brother Ronald (now 77 yrs. of age) I was around Joe & Norma Jean at different times off & on from when I was a young boy on up and for family gatherings & funerals several times during my life. They were always such friendly and nice people to be around. I remember going with Bernest & Estellene to Herman & Gracie’s farm and I think that Joe & Jean were there also. We went rabbit hunting while up there. That was a long time ago; but great memories!– I may not can make it to the funeral but you all are in my thoughts and prayers!

Jean was a helper in the bindery department at R.R.Donnelley. Jean was a hard, dedicated, caring, employee. She would come in with this sweet little smile on her face, made you feel good to see her. I also attended church with her. She loved the Lord and lived it also. She will be missed. When she retired from Donnelley, she would ask me to come and see her. I wished I had. So sorry for your loss. Prayers to the family for comfort during your loss.
