My husband, George, is son of Oplis Greenwood, who was cousin to Gilbert. We attempted to come to the funeral but due to the driving rain, poor directions and some closed roads, we missed the funeral entirely. We both wanted to see you and pay our respects to your father. When your Aunt Bea died, we came but your Aunt Betty told us that Gilbert had just left. George had intended to come see him later but never got around to it. Presently our daughter and her two children are living with us but looking for a place right now. Caring for them takes most of our time. We feel bad about missing the funeral and would like to see you.

    Sincerely,

    George and Pat Greenwood
