She was a faithful woman. I can remember her singing in the church choir with us. She always set right in front of me at church. As far back as I can remember,Sister Helen was there every time the doors open, I can also remember watching her work at the Shoe factory. She was always smiling, and was a sweet woman. I look back on my childhood and remember her as another mother to all the teens in church. Then I thank God for putting this lady in my life, she was a mentor to young girls and women ,even if she never knew it. She was a loving mother to her son Mike. She done an outstanding job in showing and teaching him the way a Christian was to live and follow God. Mike you also inherited your mom’s beautiful smile. My thoughts and prayers are with you. She is rejoicing in heaven with all the rest that have gone before her. She deserves her crown and robe. Love you .

Maw Helen has always been a previous Lady. She will be missed. I haven’t seen her in a long time but I have sweet memories of her kind heart. I’m very sorry Mike.
