    Pam,

I am so sorry for your loss. I met George on his first day at Logan. When we introduced ourselves, I found out that his mother ‘s maiden name was Nye. Having searched the Nye family genealogy we found out that we were distant cousins.
I enjoyed playing golf with George and talking Corvettes and racing. I wish we had had more time to share as I know you do. Please accept my deepest condolences.

    Sincerely,

    Bill Nye

    Pam,
What a beautiful description of a life well lived! I remember our conversations at the beach just a few short weeks ago of your life with George over the past 35 years. We laughed and carried on as though you had years of retirement life in your future. I’m so sorry your sweet George is no longer here to make those dreams a reality and share your love. You are in my prayers and I know God will comfort you and your family with His Holy Spirit. I’m thankful you have those sweet grandchildren to love on through this difficult time.

Bobby and I send our deepest sympathies to you and your family. Praying that God wraps you up in his loving arms and brings peace and comfort to you and your family. We don’t understand why our love ones have to leave this earthly home early but take comfort that you will be reunited one day again in our heavenly home.

George was a fair minded decent man. I worked for him for 2 years at Logan aluminum. After years of being discriminated against in raises, George gave me what i felt was a decent fair raise in his first year at Logan. His Leadership was exemplary, he always made you think your opinion mattered. Leaders like that come along once in a blue moon. Work aside I wish rest for George and peace for his family and pride for them in the fact that George was much loved in his final years at Logan. God Bless.

George departs this life far, far too soon. But not before leaving his blessing, in the form of the only legacy that truly matters, his family.
May their grief be short lived, but their joy in living out their testament to George’s life well lived life long.

Barry was such a funny boy! Unfortunately, I never met the man he became. I love that his grandchildren called him Pop Pop as we did our grandfather! What a special name! I’ve tried to find him on fb and the Internet for years to no avail! I was his cousin, his daddy, Casper, and my mother, Marie were sibblings! I had so much fun with my cousins growing up. Barry was special to me! I love and miss my cousins! Love you all Cindy!
