I always had fond memories of Uncle Gary growing up, from being completely solid during a tornado at the fairgrounds in Michigan, to going for a jog with me in Corpus Christie to sitting on stage with him at the Grand ol Oprey. Uncle Gary was always bigger than life to me, I have never known or likely to know a gentle man as fine as he. One of my earliest memories was visiting you guys in Michigan and Debbie and Denise allowed me to watch the Excorcist with them, I think I was 6, I was so scared, but Uncle Gary talked to me, completely putting me at ease. He was a Great Councilor, I joined the Navy because of him and settled a career in the Merchant Marine as well. He was the type of man that had impacts on others. I am proud to have known him. My Deepest Condolences to Aunt Claire, Debbie, Denise and Darin and all the Grand Children.

I am so sadden by the lose of my one and only brother. He is now in heaven with Mon & Dad. Even though he left home when I started school, we were very close and I will miss him terirbly. It was always great to visit him and Claire and my two nieces and nephew all through the years as well as when they came back to Doaktown. I have a very deep empty space in heart now and it is so tough to say goodbye. I will always love you and cherish you as my big brother. God bless you all.

    Love Always,

    Kirk

We had the opportunity to spend a wonderful day with Gary in Nashville 3 years ago. Gary took us to see some sights in Nashville including the Grand Old Opray. We all did the tour and got to sing together on the stage of the Grand Old Opray. You are My Sunshine. Will hold this memory of Gary in our hearts . Thinking of all Gary’s family at this time of loss. hold onto the memories.
