Frances Lucille Pryor, age 92, passed away September 26, 2016.

Lucille was a homemaker and worked eight years at a Women’s Fashion shop. She was a member of Salem Missionary Baptist Church of Gallatin for 65 years. Lucille will be remembered for her dedication to family and faith and for her quick smile and easy laugh.

Lucille was born May 10, 1924 in the Rock Bridge Community of Sumner County, daughter of the late Walter Dee Webb, and Pearl Hodges Webb. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Harold Laon Pryor; daughter, Patricia White; son, Dwight Pryor; sister, Virgie Hawkins; brother, Escoe Webb. She is survived by sons, Gary Pryor (Jane) of Gallatin and Timothy Pryor of Helena, Arkansas; grandchildren, Randall White (Dawn) of Portland, Ralph White (Meredith) of Portland, Chris Pryor (Lori) of Bethpage, and Michelle Pryor of Portland, plus, numerous great grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

A Funeral Service will be Saturday, October 1, at 2:00 pm with Brother Jeff Blackwell officiating. Interment will follow at Crestview Memory Gardens with Steve Cantrell, Jimmy Clariday, Bruce Hammock, Joe Porter, Chris Pryor, and Ralph White serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are Herschel Bradley and Scott Pryor. Visitation will be Friday September 30, from 4:00 – 8:00 pm and Saturday, October 1 from 1:00 pm until time of service at Crestview Funeral Home, 1623 Hwy 109 N, Gallatin, TN, 37066, 615-452-1943, crestviewfh.com

    I had the pleasure of taking care of her. She was a precious lady and she will be missed by all of us at Gallatin Center..

    I truly loved this lady she was such a blessing. It’s always so kind and had such a wonderful smile I enjoyed having her for occupational therapy at Gallatin health care and it Richland place and my daughter loves her as well.

    Gary and Tim, I am so sorry to hear of your Mom passing away. I would have been at the service if I had seen the notice sooner. It is hard when we lose a loved one, especially a parent. I will be praying for you all.
