Joyce, I am so sorry to hear about Don. We will be out of town Saturday, but will be thinking of him. He was a wonderful man that I really enjoyed knowing and talking with. It was a joy to stop in your bakery and talk with the both of you. If I can be of any help, just give me a call. He will always be my friend in my heart and will always remember the great conversations that we used to have.

To Joyce and all of the family :

I was caught off guard today, finding Don’s obit in the paper. The Dawson family has always
had a special place in my heart. I always loved to mess with Don on Sunday mornings. Of course I found out
about my diabetes after eating the Dawsons sweet cake. To all of the family I say, God comfort and be near to you.
Of course we know he has just gone ahead of us, we will rejoice to be with him again. Stay close to one another and
keep strong. I am moving my daughter and son in law tonight and Saturday. I would love to be with you, but I am unable.
    Much love to you all.

What a sweet man, I remember back to all the fun times we had, When Don worked at Vanderbilt. I remembered his smile and ALWAYS looking at putting a smile on everyone else face. Such a joker, and I know that Our Lord has welcome him home with open arms, and saying JOB WELL DONE. I’m looking to seeing him again, When my time has come. I thank GOD for the times we shared at Vanderbilt. God bless the Mr. Dawson and my prayers are with you all.
