I have known Donald for 15 years, and I am going to miss a hard-working, straight-shootin’ breadman. He was the real deal, in my opinion. As for me and my family, we are praying for Angie and the rest of Donald’s family.

Donald was one of the few people I could call a true friend. No matter how long since we last talked we could pick up like it was but a day ago. Had my back in times of need, hired me into one of the best jobs I’ve ever held and was a great teacher of the game we like to play…. Golf. I have but one regret and that was not making time to come see you while you were down and out. My family and I are gonna miss you.

I don’t believe we ever met but Duck was my cousin his grandfather and my mother were brother and sister. Bonnie was one of my most favorite cousins and friends. We were pregnant at the same time the twins were two weeks older than my daughter. I am so very sorry to hear of his death. If we had have known we would have been there. That is one thing this family is lacking communication. Since my mother passed and Ducks grandparents we just haven’t done a very good job of keeping in touch. Can you please contact me information about what happened.

I just heard the news today and just can’t believe Duck is gone. Along with Darrell we had some good times while still in school then life happened and we went our separate ways. I am very sorry for the family and if there is anything I can do let me know. R.I.P. Duck I loved ya pal.
