Dick Braden – Age 69, of Madison, passed away peacefully at home on July 27, 2016.

Dick was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, and brother. He was also a gifted architect, musician and artist. Dick was influenced in life by his parents, brothers, wife, children and grandchildren. He enjoyed painting with watercolors, reading spy novels, architecture, eating out, sweets, attending church, photography and Auburn football. Dick had the gift of being a musician, playing the banjo, tuba and listening to bluegrass music and Willie Nelson. Dick felt most comfortable being surrounded by family at home, the lake, being behind a camera or browsing at local bookstores.  He enjoyed family activities such as taking his children to birthday dinners, the annual Braden Dove Hunt, fishing with his children and grandchildren, and flying model airplanes with his grandchildren. Dick will be dearly missed by his loving family and by all those that knew him.

So sorry to hear of your loss. In times like these I think of the old hymn “Precious Memories” as I believe the ability to recall such memories are God’s way of easing the sorrow we feel of the great loss we suffer when a loved one passes.
