Clayton Charles Cabron, Age 55, left us entirely too soon on July 27, 2014. He is survived by his sisters, Janice Elledge, Anya Cabron and beloved pet, Echo. Preceded in death by his mother, Aneita Briley Cabron & father, Edwin Lee Cabron.

A childhood of frequent moves inspired his love of travel from castle ruins in Ireland to the plains of Africa. He was never happier than when exploring abandoned gold mines and ghost towns with good friend, Kenneth Verble and his longtime employment at Next Generation Underwriters was a source of professional pride and personal friendships.

He enjoyed serving on the Board of Directors of the Hendersonville Performing Arts Company. He loved and embraced his role as set designer for most of the performances.

A Memorial Service will be held in Texas when the family will gather to scatter his ashes, per his family’s tradition. A celebration of life will be held locally Saturday afternoon.

In Lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to a charity of your choice.

Clayton was such a good person. He was kind and gentle. He loved his in-laws and was always willing, ready and able to lend a hand. He shared his travel stories with a huge smile on his face, and he spoke so highly of his mom, dad and sisters. I recently learned of his gifts and talents for making wood works and decorating. He was amazing at both. I am so glad that I was able to get know him. He touched many people, both near and far.

He was one of the good ones!

    I will miss you Clayton!

I will always remember Clayton’s laugh when I talked with him. I had worked with him for years before we finally met face to face. It was finally so nice to put a face with his voice. My thoughts and prayers are with his family during this time.

I never had the pleasure of meeting Clayton in person, but had many conversations with him by telephone. He was very knowledgeable and always worked diligently to handle any issues that we had. We will miss him
