Most people realize the title of Nurse is one that has required years of schooling, practice and patience, but one of the key factors that make up a great nurse cannot always be taught; caring. Terri Dixon of Caris Hospice was nominated by a family she served for the amazing care she provided from the medical books and from the heart! The family wrote, "Terri was very attentive both at our house and the two nursing homes my husband was in. She also prepared us for the end. Then she attended his memorial service." These things can sound small when written in a sentence, but the impact for this family will be remembered forever. Thank you, Terri, for all that you do!
